Influences Of Fashion

Advertising, marketing and the media all try to influence the way we dress. It is mostly for profit. We are also influenced by our family and friends.
Advertising influences you by what you see for instance if you see and advert on the television it encourages you to buy an item if it is affordable and easy to buy.

Marketing is a very influential factor. Young people in this generation are the most targeted group. Fashion trends are shown to teenagers by the media. Through television, magazines, movies, and teen idols, today's youth are told what to wear to be "hip" and "trendy". Companies use youth as their target market because the prices of fashion can be expensive and they will still be willing to buy it no matter what.

Media is another influential factor in fashion. The media influences people by the way they portray celebrities. People tend to follow what they see people on TV and pictures.

Family and Friends influence fashion by seeing what they wear and having something in common with them, most of us try and be similar to them. These are most of the factors that influence are fashion sense and determine who we want to be.

How clothes are manufactured

Clothing is made from a variety of materials. The denim that we wear is mostly made from silk, which is made from the cocoon of a silkworm.
We also can buy a lot of are clothes that is made from cotton which is picked from cotton plants and spun into thread. Then it is used to make cotton fabric to make clothes but also it is ideal for bed linen.
Linen is made from a flax plant it takes one hundred days before it is ready to harvest. Then it is "retted","bettled"and "scutched" the scutched were sorted then spun on a spinning wheel. After spinning the flax is then yarn.
Clothes are designed by designers but they actually do none of the work. The designs are sent of to factories to be made.
Clothes are made by many more materiel these are just how some are made.

Clothes are manufactured and produced in five steps:
Step one-fabric is layered and patterns laid.
Step two-the fabric layers are cut out with a jigsaw.
Step three-the cut fabric is taken to sewing rooms.
Step four-buttons and trims are added.
Step five-quality control and packaged.

Types Of Fashion

Today in the world there are many different styles.Your sense of fashion is how you express yourself. Many different people have different styles, for example there is people who dress in dark colors or light colors.
There are people who prefer labels and dress themselves in expensive clothes like for instance Chanel and Couture. Many of us like to dress in vintage clothing or urban style. There are a variety of clothing for us to choose from.
Personally I like to dress casual and to be comfortable with some ugg boots and tracksuit bottoms. Also most of us like to be casual dressing in simple clothes. Some people believe that in order to look trendy and stylish you must know the current trend of the day. Learning different types of fashion and their use is something you should start from an early age. The best dress individuals are not necessarily the fashion designers whose names appear in the media daily. Any one can be a fashion guru if they put their mind to it. Trends come and go while fashion just changes a bit over time.
